From Paxos and Parga to Corfu’s historic old town, this journey combines turquoise waters with authentic Greek island life.
Day 1: Gouvia Marina to Kalami Bay
Begin your sailing adventure at Gouvia Marina and set off along Corfu’s beautiful northeast coastline. Cruise towards the peaceful anchorage of Kalami Bay. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing on deck or exploring the shoreline. Enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by beautiful views and calm turquoise waters.
Day 2: Kalami Bay to Sivota
Leave Corfu behind and sail towards the mainland town of Sivota. Enjoy the changing views as you cruise across the Ionian Sea. Once you arrive, explore the town’s charming waterfront and traditional tavernas. Settle in for a relaxed Greek dinner beside the water.
Day 3: Sivota to Lakka
Continue to the island of Paxos and the beautiful bay of Lakka. Surrounded by lush green hills and clear blue water, this is one of the Ionian’s most scenic anchorages. Spend the day swimming, snorkelling or relaxing on board. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming island village.
Day 4: Lakka to Gaios
Sail south along Paxos towards Gaios, the island’s picturesque harbour town. Wander through the narrow streets and enjoy the colourful waterfront lined with cafés and local restaurants. Take time to browse the small boutiques or enjoy a leisurely coffee overlooking the harbour. As the sun sets, soak up the relaxed rhythm of island life.
Day 5: Gaios to Parga
Set sail for Parga, a beautiful coastal town on mainland Greece. Explore its colourful Venetian harbour and wander through the town’s winding streets. Visit the historic castle for wonderful views over the rooftops and coastline. Spend the evening enjoying fresh seafood and the lively waterfront atmosphere.
Day 6: Parga to Petriti
Cruise back towards Corfu and the traditional fishing village of Petriti. This peaceful coastal stop is known for its local character and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a swim in the clear waters or take a stroll along the waterfront. Later, settle in for an authentic Greek meal at one of the village tavernas.
Day 7: Petriti to Corfu Town
Sail towards Corfu Town, where history, culture and Venetian architecture come together. Wander through the UNESCO-listed Old Town and explore its charming squares, arcades and narrow streets. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local café or browse the shops for traditional souvenirs. Spend your final evening taking in the atmosphere of this beautiful historic city.
Day 8: Return to Corfu Marina
Enjoy your final morning on the water as you return to Gouvia Marina. Take in the last views of Corfu’s coastline and the sparkling Ionian Sea. Say goodbye to your yacht and reflect on a week of island-hopping, swimming and memorable Greek experiences. Your Northern Ionian sailing journey ends at the marina.
