“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.” – Anita Desai
Hi, I’m Clare – a travel curator, memory-maker, and your personal go-to for bespoke holidays that are anything but ordinary.
With over two decades in the industry (and a passport full of stamps to prove it), I’ve helped clients turn daydreams into detailed, beautifully planned adventures. Based in Cape Town but working globally, I blend insider knowledge, seamless logistics, and genuine care to design trips that feel just right – because no two travellers are the same.
I’ve lived in the UK, started my family in East London, and now call the Cape’s coastline home. With loved ones across the world, I know how powerful travel can be – whether it’s reconnecting with family, discovering somewhere new, or just pressing pause for a while.
I specialise in high-touch, tailor-made travel – think family holidays with flair, luxurious honeymoons, multi-generational escapes, and everything in between. Backed by a global Travel Counsellors network and 100% financial protection, I offer all the perks of a big travel brand with the care and attention of someone who’s with you every step of the way.
From the first “Where should we go?” to the final “You have to hear what happened in Venice!” – I’m here for it all.
Let’s create your next unforgettable escape. One that feels like it was made just for you – because it is.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.

If there’s one thing the past few years have taught us, it’s how precious time with loved ones really is. That’s why more and more families are choosing to travel together - not just parents and kids, but grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins too. Multi-generational holidays offer a chance to slow down, reconnect and create memories that span generations. Whether it's a barefoot beach break, a bucket-list adventure or a once-in-a-lifetime escape, these trips are about shared experiences that everyone remembers - even if for different reasons. As a mom, daughter, and travel expert, I love curating holidays that bring families together. But let’s be honest - planning for a group with different ages, interests, and energy levels can be tricky. That’s where I come in: to take the stress out of the planning and make sure every member of the family feels considered and cared for. Here are some of my top destination picks for South African families looking to travel together: Mauritius Just a four-hour flight from Joburg, this island is perfect for families. Think spacious villas or interleading rooms, all-inclusive resorts, calm beaches, and activities for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. Resorts like Beachcomber, Lux*, and Heritage Le Telfair cater beautifully to multi-gen groups. Garden Route, South Africa For something closer to home, the Garden Route ticks all the boxes. Road trip it from Cape Town to Knysna, or base yourself in a family-friendly guesthouse or villa. You’ll find everything from wildlife experiences and forest adventures to relaxed lagoon days and delicious local food. Victoria Falls or Chobe, Zimbabwe/Zambia/Botswana A great option for an unforgettable Africa experience. Combine the thrill of the Falls with a few nights in a safari lodge. Many lodges now offer family suites and kid-friendly game drives, while the views and wildlife delight every age group. Southeast Asia (Bali or Vietnam) For families wanting culture, cuisine, and natural beauty, Bali and Vietnam are both excellent. They're safe, welcoming, and surprisingly affordable - even for bigger groups. Private villas with staff are common, giving you privacy without compromising on service. Cruises Cruising is a game-changer for multi-generational travel. Unpack once, and let the world come to you. Onboard there’s something for everyone - kids’ clubs, fine dining, spa treatments, and daily excursions. I often recommend cruises departing from Europe or Asia for a unique blend of exploration and comfort. A few tips for a smooth multi-generational holiday: - Choose flexible accommodation like villas, interleading rooms or suites with lounge areas - Build in downtime - not every day needs to be jam-packed - Plan experiences everyone can enjoy - cooking classes, gentle hikes, wildlife viewing, or cultural shows - Use a travel professional (hi, it’s me!) to coordinate the details so you can just show up and enjoy Whether it’s a big celebration, a long-overdue reunion, or just a desire to spend quality time together, multi-gen travel is one of the most rewarding ways to see the world. Ready to start planning your family’s next chapter? Let’s chat - I’d love to help you bring everyone together in a way that feels special, seamless, and truly memorable.

With all the buzz around the USA at the moment, I’ve found myself reminiscing about my own American adventure - a whirlwind five weeks of family visits, iconic cities, and unforgettable experiences. Here are just a few of the highlights that made this trip so special: ?? New Year’s Eve in Times Square New York really is the city that never sleeps - and never more so than on New Year’s Eve. Imagine standing shoulder to shoulder with over a million people, bundled up against the cold, watching live performances by Charlie Puth, Carrie Underwood, Wiz Khalifa, and Luke Bryan, all leading up to that magical moment when the Ball drops at midnight. It was electric. Cold toes? Absolutely. Worth it? A thousand times yes. ?? Sunday Cycling in Central Park This might not make a typical bucket list, but it’s one of my favourite memories. Renting a bike and cruising through Central Park on a crisp winter morning made me feel like a local - calm, free, and completely immersed in the city’s quieter side. Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that leave the biggest mark. ?? Washington D.C. – A Change of Pace After the high-energy pace of NYC, Washington D.C. felt like a deep exhale. There’s something so grounding about the city - from the incredible Smithsonian Museums to peaceful walks around the monuments by moonlight. The Arlington Memorial moved me more than I expected, and charming Georgetown was the perfect day trip. It’s one of those cities that quietly captures your heart. ?? Viva Las Vegas! Then it was time to switch gears again - straight to the dazzling lights of Vegas. Staying on the Strip was the best decision: easy access to all the action and entertainment. The city truly comes alive at night - the Bellagio fountains, Treasure Island’s pirate show, and world-class performances at every corner. I was lucky enough to snag tickets to “O” by Cirque du Soleil - an absolute must-see. Pro tip: book early - shows sell out fast! ?? The Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam No words (or photos) do justice to that feeling of standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. Yes, I was clinging to safety rails, but the sheer vastness and silence of the canyon left me in awe. We visited the West Rim on a day trip, including a stop at the Hoover Dam - both incredible feats of nature and engineering. Whether you’re planning a business trip to New York or dreaming of a coast-to-coast family adventure, the USA has something for everyone. And if you're unsure where to start, I’d love to help you map it all out - from iconic sights to hidden gems. After all, I’ve been there, done that... and I’ve got the stories (and travel tips) to prove it.
