It's Nice To Meet You
My name is Chantal Jansen, and I am a Travel Counsellor based in the wonderful suburb of Wilgeheuwel on the West Rand in Gauteng. We have been living here since 2012 and just love staying in this area. I am married and have a 9 year old son, who means the world to me.
After doing my matric in 2001, I went to go and study Travel & Tourism for a year at Damelin, Krugersdorp, achieving the Merit Award for being the top student of the year, and achieving distinctions in all my subjects. I built up my experience working for travel agencies where I initially started as a Junior Consultant and worked my way up to a Senior Consultant.
After 18 years of working experience in the travel industry, I have decided the time was right for me to start my own travel business. I am passionate about what I do and I love travel. Being in the travel industry, you learn something new every day and there is never a dull moment.
Becoming a Travel Counsellor is giving me the opportunity to become independent with all the back-up support that I need.
I thank the Lord every day for teaching and guiding me in the right direction and sending me on the right path where I grew from strength to strength and now being the right time for me to go out there and use my talent that He has given me.
