I am Sunét van der Merwe and a Travel Counsellor based in Jeffreys Bay. Growing up in the Eastern Cape, I decided to venture to the Big City of Cape Town, where I lived for just over 10 years.
I decided to come back to the Eastern Cape to start a new chapter and I am really looking forward to starting this amazing journey. With clients all over South Africa, as well as UK, Ireland, Dubai, Belgium, Netherlands and Australia, I cannot wait to assist you with your dream holiday! I have been in the Travel industry for the past 16 years. I started off as a consultant in Port Elizabeth, and then proceeded to open up a brand new Retail office as Manager, and took it to great profits within it's first 3 months. I moved to Cape Town for a Product Development role, which I absolutely loved and this, in turn, opened up doors for me to work as a Sales Executive and New business Development Manager for a Tour Operator. Which brings it to the present day, where I am excited to take all of this experience and knowledge and assist my clients in the best possible way.
Being in the travel industry for quite some time, does mean that I have travelled a fair bit. My travels include skiing in Italy, as well as in the French Alps, cruising in the Mediterrean, best-snorkelling and swimming with Manta rays in the Maldives, screaming my lungs out on a tuk-tuk on the chaotic roads in India, tasting the best chocolate in Switzerland, being a kid again at Euro Disney, as well as Disney World, I have been to 4 different Clubmed's, 4 trips to Mauritius, marvelling at the majestic pyramids in Cairo, riding on a bicycle past a water buffalo in Vietnam, seeing a Broadway show in New York...endless amazing experiences....and believe me, there are still plenty on my list.
I am excited about travelling and believe that the more stories you have to tell and the more memories you have about amazing places, the better. Let me help you make that happen!
