My name is Sonia. I am a Travel Counsellor based in Parkrand, Boksburg. I was born in Boksburg and did my schooling in Boksburg. My first job was in this beautiful, quaint and quiet city. I have a wonderful, supportive husband and two wonderful children. (A girl and a boy)
Before becoming a Travel Counsellor, I worked for various retail travel agencies, gaining 25 years of experience in the travel industry. Whilst working for the various retail travel companies, I was given the opportunity to attend various courses and gained knowledge in various aspects such as fares and ticketing, Galileo – reservations system, billing and settlement plan. I was awarded certificates for these courses that I attended.
I love booking people on holidays, and the feedback they give me upon their return, always puts a smile on my face, knowing that they had a relaxing and enjoyable time. I will always endeavour to make your holiday the best experience of your life, from the time you arrive at your destination to the time you arrive back in our beautiful country South Africa.
I have travelled to Mauritius, Israel, Mozambique, the U.K, France, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and the Netherlands and last but not least I have also travelled quite a lot in our beautiful country South Africa. I absolutely love travelling in South Africa, and my favourite city is definitely Cape Town, the mother city. I truly believe we have a world in one country. I also loved travelling to Israel, as it was a really spiritual experience for me and it had always been my dream destination. I hope to travel to Israel again sometime in the future.
I love being a Travel Counsellor, because I can give each of my clients the individual attention that they require and deserve. I am available to my clients 24/7, so they need not fear if a travel emergency should come up, as I am just a phone call away. The flexibility of being a Travel Counsellor also means that I have more time for my family, which is something I have always wanted.
