It's Nice To Meet You
Travel has always been more than just a holiday to me – it's about creating unforgettable experiences, making lifelong memories, and discovering the incredible diversity our world has to offer. Helping my clients experience that for themselves is what I love most about what I do.
My journey into travel has been a little different. Before becoming a travel consultant, I spent many years working as a Business Analyst in the corporate world. During that time, I was fortunate enough to travel extensively, and every trip fuelled my passion for exploring new destinations and cultures. Eventually, I decided to turn that passion into a career, and I've never looked back.
One of the biggest adventures of my life was living in Dubai for seven and a half years. It will always hold a very special place in my heart. During my time there, I spent four years working as a Travel Counsellor, helping clients from around the world plan incredible holidays and business trips. The experience gave me an international perspective on travel and allowed me to build relationships with travellers from many different countries.
After returning to South Africa, I continued my journey with Travel Counsellors, combining my international experience with an in-depth understanding of the local travel market. Being part of a global company means I can seamlessly assist clients whether they're based in South Africa or abroad, while offering the same personalised service and attention to detail every step of the way.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of designing everything from luxury beach escapes and family holidays to complex multi-country European itineraries, cruises, group tours and bespoke adventures. From the charming streets of Venice, Rome and Paris to the vibrant cultures of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and Bali. I've also crafted unforgettable holidays to the USA, Russia, Mauritius, Zanzibar, and destinations across South Africa.
Personally, I've been fortunate enough to visit destinations including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Morocco, Australia, Jordan, Namibia, the UAE, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Bali and many beautiful parts of South Africa. I believe there's nothing quite like first-hand experience when it comes to recommending destinations and sharing practical travel advice.
One area I'm particularly excited to grow is golf travel. Whether it's organising a group golf tour with friends, a corporate golf getaway, or combining world-class golf with luxury accommodation and sightseeing, I look forward to creating exceptional golf experiences for my clients.
Being part of Travel Counsellors gives me access to world-class technology, trusted global supplier relationships and award-winning support, allowing me to create tailor-made holidays with complete peace of mind. Every booking is financially protected, and our dedicated 24-hour Duty Office monitors events around the world, ensuring support is always available should travel plans be affected.
For me, travel isn't simply about booking flights and hotels. It's about getting to know you, understanding what makes your perfect holiday, and creating an itinerary that's uniquely yours. Whether you're dreaming of a relaxing island escape, a once-in-a-lifetime European adventure, a business trip, or your next golf tour, I'll take care of every detail so you can simply enjoy the journey.
I'd love to help you plan your next adventure. Let's start creating memories you'll treasure for years to come.

Top Tips for Bali
My top tips for traveling to Bali, the Island of the Gods!! Money: Travelling with a Credit Card or Forex card is probably the best option as you can pay at most shops, restaurants, and attractions in Bali. You will need cash to pay drivers if you arrange a day trip with a local driver. There are lots of ATM’s all over the island so very easy to withdraw cash when you are in Bali. Please speak

I LOVE Bali
I LOVE Bali!! The first time we travelled to Bali was 26 years ago and have been a few times since so we decided to return to Bali on our first “post Covid” holiday. What a privilege and as always, an amazing experience!! Bali changed so much since our first trip, more traffic, more hotels, more people, but no less AMAZING. Over the years we stayed in different parts of the Island and this trip

Cape Town and surrounds...
I am passionate about South Africa, even after living in Dubai, my second home for almost 6 years and loving the city think I am very biased when talking about the beauty of Cape Town. For this blog, I thought I would enlist my nieces, currently living in Cape Town to write a short blog from their perspective about my Cape Town. Sanaa and Malikah are “millennials” living and working in Cape

Bali, island of the Gods...
I’ve travelled to Bali several times over the last 20 years. My first trip was in 1996 and I was immediately totally in love with the beauty of Bali as well as the humble and friendly Balinese people. I spent 12 nights in Kuta travelling all over the island exploring the many temples as amazing sites. I marvelled at the rolling rice paddies and dense forests. I returned to Bali several ti

Kathmandu, the gateway to Nepal
I recently visited a friend, originally from Kathmandu who moved back home after many years in Dubai. We decided to travel over the Eid break in July and it was absolutely amazing, the weather was cool coming straight from the extreme Dubai heat. It rained daily mostly early morning or late afternoon, which we loved as we missed rain more than I can explain. At first all your senses are attac

Amazing Thailand...
I told a friend I’m going to Thailand and her first words were “you are going again?’, and it’s true, I’ve been a few times but I have good reasons to go back. However, this time I booked bang in the middle of rainy reason toward the end of September. Again the responses were “are you sure”, “you know its rainy season will probably rain every day”. To be honest, I was a little concerned specifical
