Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Make your way to the hotel and settle into Vietnam’s lively capital. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first look around the city. This evening, meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers over dinner.

Day 2: Discover Hanoi

Begin at Long Biên Bridge before exploring riverside farms and a bustling local market. Visit Hỏa Lò Prison to learn about its complex history. Continue sightseeing with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and Ho Chi Minh’s wooden house.

Day 3: Hanoi to Halong Bay

Travel to Halong Bay and board your overnight cruise among its limestone islands. Enjoy lunch on board and explore Thien Canh Son Cave in Bai Tu Long Bay. Later, try a spring roll cooking class before dinner and the chance to go squid fishing.

Day 4: Halong Bay to Hoi An

Start with Tai Chi on deck and breakfast surrounded by bay views. Visit Vung Vieng floating village before returning to Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang. Continue to Hoi An and settle in for two nights.

Day 5: Explore Hoi An

Join a guided walking tour through Hoi An’s historic streets. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chaozhou Assembly Hall and colourful market. Free time offers the chance to browse the tailoring shops or join an optional activity at an additional cost.

Day 6: Cham Islands and Da Nang

Take a private speedboat to the Cham Islands, visiting a fishing village and Ong Ngu Temple. Snorkel off Xep Beach before enjoying a seafood lunch at Chong Beach. Return to the mainland and transfer to Da Nang.

Day 7: Da Nang at Your Pace

Enjoy a free day by the coast. Spend time on the beach, explore local cafés or relax at your hotel. An optional city tour takes in Dragon Bridge, Han Market, the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains at an additional cost.

Day 8: Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, where busy streets and modern buildings sit alongside reminders of the past. Settle into your hotel and take in the change of pace. This evening, enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers at a local restaurant.

Day 9: Discover Ho Chi Minh City

Explore the city’s history and architecture on a sightseeing tour. See landmarks including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the former Presidential Palace. Optional experiences, including a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, are available at an additional cost.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City Your Way

Today is free for exploring independently. Browse the markets, sample local dishes or take a break at a café. Alternatively, join an optional excursion to Bến Tre in the Mekong Delta at an additional cost.

Day 11: Fly to Siem Reap

Leave Vietnam behind and fly to Siem Reap in Cambodia. Settle into your hotel before exploring your new surroundings. An optional evening experience offers an introduction to Siem Reap after dark at an additional cost.

Day 12: Explore Angkor

Visit Angkor Wat and discover the stories behind its intricate stone carvings. Continue to Angkor Thom to explore Bayon Temple and the Terrace of the Elephants. An optional Phare Circus performance is available this evening at an additional cost.

Day 13: Siem Reap at Your Pace

Spend your final full day exploring independently or relaxing at your hotel. Optional experiences include Ta Prohm Temple, a Tonlé Sap Lake cruise and encounters with local village life. These activities carry an additional cost, allowing you to choose what interests you most.

Day 14: Depart Siem Reap

Enjoy breakfast before your journey comes to an end. Say goodbye to your Travel Director and fellow travellers. Make your onward arrangements, taking home memories of Vietnam and Cambodia.
