Safari Plains Luxury Tented Camp, South Africa

Enjoy coffee on your deck before heading out with a guide to see what the morning brings. Back at camp, a freshly prepared breakfast gives way to time by the pool, a spa treatment or a quiet moment in your hanging chair. Later, an afternoon game drive and sundowners lead into dinner, with the sounds of the bush carrying on around you.

Five reasons to choose Safari Plains for your next safari holiday:

1. Camping with plenty of comfort: Tented suites have proper bathrooms, air conditioning and private decks. Deep baths and hanging chairs make time in your suite something to look forward to.

2. Wildlife adventures twice a day: Morning and afternoon game drives explore the reserve with experienced guides. Look out for the Big Five while learning about the animals, birds and landscapes around you.

3. Room for the family: Family suites offer an additional sleeping area, giving everyone space to settle in. It’s a comfortable way to share a safari without feeling crowded.

4. A little holiday pampering: Spend the hours between outings beside the swimming pool or book a soothing spa treatment. There’s no need to fill every moment with activity.

5. An escape without a long journey: Safari Plains is around two and a half hours’ drive from Johannesburg. That makes a break of bush views, good food and wildlife feel wonderfully within reach.
