Itinerary:

Day 1: Vancouver, British Columbia

Board Celebrity Solstice in Vancouver and settle in for your Alaskan adventure. Take in the city and mountain views from the ship before sailing away. Your journey north into Alaska begins.

Day 2: Inside Passage

Spend the day cruising through Alaska’s spectacular Inside Passage, surrounded by fjords, forested islands and mountains. Keep watch for whales, orcas, bald eagles, bears and sea otters as you sail. Long summer daylight hours give you even more time to enjoy the scenery from the ship.

Day 3: Sitka, Alaska

Arrive in Sitka, where Alaska’s natural beauty meets a fascinating Russian and Indigenous heritage. Explore coastal trails and historic sites, or look out for humpback whales, brown bears and bald eagles in the surrounding wilderness.

Day 4: Endicott Arm

Cruise through the spectacular Endicott Arm Fjord, passing granite mountains, waterfalls, floating ice and deep blue waters. Watch for harbour seals and other wildlife as the ship makes its way towards Dawes Glacier. You might even get the chance to witness the glacier calving as huge pieces of ice break away into the water.

Day 5: Icy Strait Point, Alaska

Spend the day at Icy Strait Point, close to the Tlingit community of Hoonah. Discover the area’s rich Indigenous and fishing heritage or head out in search of humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles and brown bears. 

Day 6: Juneau, Alaska

Wake up in Juneau, Alaska’s capital and a gateway to some incredible outdoor experiences. You could take to the skies for glacier views, try a glacial dogsled adventure or spend your time exploring the city and surrounding wilderness. 

Day 7: Hubbard Glacier

Enjoy another unforgettable day of scenic cruising as Celebrity Solstice approaches Hubbard Glacier, the longest tidewater glacier in the world. Take in views of this enormous wall of ice from the ship while the onboard naturalist shares more about the landscape and keeps watch for whales, harbour seals and otters. Calving ice can send huge chunks crashing dramatically into Disenchantment Bay.

Day 8: Seward, Alaska

Arrive in Seward, bringing your seven-night cruise to an end. Surrounded by the glacier-covered Kenai Mountains, Seward is the gateway to the spectacular Kenai Fjords National Park and a beautiful place to continue exploring Alaska. Disembark from the Celebrity Solstice with a week of glaciers, wildlife and wild Alaskan landscapes behind you.
