Hi, I'm Milady Tshandu-Limetyeni, a Travel Counsellor based in Sandton, Johannesburg; though don't let that limit you, I look after clients from anywhere in the world. When I'm not planning unforgettable journeys, I'm a busy (and very happy) wife and mother of two energetic boys, which means I know exactly how much a well-planned holiday is worth to a busy family and I bring that same care to every trip I plan for you.
Your Experience
Before becoming a Travel Counsellor in 2026, I spent 18+ years immersed in luxury safari travel, specialising in Southern and East Africa, working closely with high-net-worth clients to craft exceptional, tailor-made journeys. That depth of experience means that when you book with me, you're booking with someone who has walked the ground, knows the lodges, the guides, and the small details that turn a good trip into an extraordinary one.
My Favourite Destinations
If you ask me to name one favourite trip, it will always be the Great Migration in East Africa - there's nothing quite like witnessing it firsthand. Beyond that, my heart belongs to Southern and East Africa as a whole: South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Mozambique, along with the idyllic island escapes of Mauritius, the Seychelles, and the Maldives. Each of these destinations holds a special place for me, and I love helping clients discover exactly why.
What I Love
What I love most about being a Travel Counsellor is the freedom it gives me - the autonomy to run my own business, my own way, on my own terms. But that freedom has always come with one purpose: giving my clients the very best of me. Without a call centre or a queue standing between us, I get to focus entirely on you, crafting a personal, high-touch service built around your needs, not a script. That's the whole point of the independence I have; it lets me show up fully for the people I work with, whenever they need me.
