I've travelled to 138 countries over the past 40 years and used just about every travel agent and online booking platform along the way. Lizl Pearsall is in a different league. A colleague referred me to her, and from my very first enquiry the service has been exceptional — far beyond anything I've had from any agency or self-service site. Frankly, I can't see why anyone would still be doing this themselves or settling for an inexperienced agent. Then there's the myTC app, which I've attached a couple of screenshots of. Every trip sits in one place: the full itinerary laid out flight by flight, all your documents attached to the relevant booking, and a payments tab so you always know exactly what's been paid and what's outstanding. Quotes arrive in the app rather than getting buried in your inbox, and you can pay against them securely right there. Lizl's phone and email sit one tap away on the contact screen. No hunting through six months of emails for a voucher — it's all at your fingertips. There are a few features I haven't needed yet but am genuinely looking forward to: offline access to your e-tickets and vouchers when you're stuck in a terminal with no data, instant flight change alerts, the ability to share your itinerary with family so they know where you are and when, and — my favourite touch — a countdown timer to your next departure. Lizl herself is genuinely responsive, by phone or WhatsApp, which I love. If you've never had a truly great travel agent, give her a try. You won't be disappointed.

From start to finish, Lizl was amazing. She helped and guided me every step of the way and made planning my trip feel easy. I cannot praise Lizl’s service highly enough, absolutely amazing. You really deserve a 5 star rating. We had a seamless trip . A well-maintained professionally organized trip . We had a booking misunderstanding once in our second leg and had to call Lizl at 2am due to time zone difference, guess what? Lizl promptly responded and called the hotel and everything was sorted swiftly. She even took care of our flights and checking us in from Cpt , Singapore , Malaysia and back home to Cpt . CAUTION!!!! BE AWARE!!! PRO at work here!!! I recently had to make a short trip to JHB from CPT and back for business. Lizl made the process simple from start to finish. My little trip probably didn't make her reach any financial targets of any sort as it was a very small part compared to what i'm sure she normally handles on a daily basis, yet she made me feel like i was her only client. The way they leverage technology to ensure a smooth administrative process is second to none. From the moment i contacted her to each pre flight check in she did via whatsapp the day before or the morning before my flights she was quick, responsive and to the point solving issues i didn't even know i had. Just a small excerpt from my experience in the picture with friendly service even on a Saturday morning and a friendly Birthday wish included. In June 2025, Lizl Pearsall from Travel Counsellors assisted us in booking flights from Cape Town to the Netherlands and to England and back, and she also assisted us to obtain travel insurance. She further assisted us to obtain our UK and Schengen visas in time. Lizl even paid us a brief visit at home in Pringle Bay to personally deliver a travel folder together with her friendly holiday wishes. We experienced her service as absolutely professional, caring, and friendly. From the moment of our initial request, she provided us with the best flight options within hours, and the flights were well sourced, with minimum layovers in Dubai and at a very good price. She did not just sell us a product but stayed in contact with us by doing our check-ins prior to each flight, contacting us during our visit to confirm any requirements, and contacting us again upon return to follow up on our wellbeing. We also found the use of the My TC App very convenient for having our itinerary, flight booking, e-tickets, boarding passes, and travel insurance neatly available on the phone.
