Never having been abroad and being very nervous about this new experience, Jeanne was so patient in explaining everything to us and making very valuable suggestions. Last year my wife and I decided we would like to visit Italy. The thought of organising all the transport, hotels, sightseeing, etc. was pretty daunting. We had heard of Jeanne Thirion from Travel Counsellors, so we asked her if she could recommend how we could spend a short holiday in Italy. She quickly came back with a package tour offered by the Trafalgar group, which incorporated Rome, Venice and Florence. It sounded perfect so we asked her to proceed. She then sorted out our flights, suggested some stop-over options, and advised on obtaining Visas etc. All paperwork was personally delivered and we were kept up to date as the time approached. In terms of the holiday itself, we had a great time. The Trafalgar package was well organised, took in three great cities (plus a couple of on-route stops at Verona and Assisi), and allowed us to purchase some extra tourist attractions that fitted neatly into our schedule. It was a packed 8 days or so, we came back tired but excited. We managed to see and experience so much of Italy in such a short time. Thank you Jeanne for recommending and organising such a wonderful holiday. Paris next I think!

While Jeanne could not control the delayed flight in Kimberley and the subsequent rush for my mom to get her connection at OR Tambo, she was in contact with myself and my sister (in Scotland) until late last night.
