Explore Banff and Jasper National Parks, travel along the scenic Icefields Parkway and get up close to ancient glaciers. From turquoise lakes to dramatic mountain peaks, this trip is filled with incredible scenery, memorable experiences and warm Canadian hospitality.
Day 1: Welcome to Kananaskis
Arrive in Calgary and transfer to the peaceful mountain region of Kananaskis. Settle into your lodge and take in the beautiful surroundings of Kananaskis Provincial Park. Enjoy some time to relax after your journey. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a delicious dinner.
Day 2: Journey to Jasper
Travel along the famous Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic mountain roads. Enjoy views of turquoise lakes, dramatic cliffs and the impressive Columbia Icefield. Stop to admire the powerful Athabasca Falls along the way. Continue to Jasper National Park and spend the afternoon enjoying its beautiful wilderness.
Day 3: Exploring Jasper
Start your day with a guided walk through Maligne Canyon, known for its limestone walls and rushing waterfalls. Later, enjoy a scenic cruise across the peaceful waters of Maligne Lake. Cruise past jagged mountain peaks towards the famous Spirit Island. Spend the evening relaxing or exploring the charming town of Jasper.
Days 4-5: Lakes and Glacier Adventure
Leave Jasper and visit the spectacular Athabasca Falls before continuing towards the Columbia Icefield. Enjoy a special welcome at the Glacier View Lodge, including a champagne reception and delicious dinner. Later, experience the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored walkway above the Sunwapta Valley. Take in the glacier views as you enjoy a memorable evening in the Rockies.
Enjoy an exciting Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. Learn more about the icefield and admire the incredible mountain scenery surrounding you. Continue through the Rockies, passing glacier-fed lakes and dramatic peaks. Later, arrive in Banff and settle into your hotel.
Day 6: Discover Lake Louise
Travel to the beautiful Lake Louise, famous for its turquoise water and impressive mountain backdrop. Take a peaceful stroll along the lakeshore or simply enjoy the views. The area offers plenty of opportunities for photographs and quiet moments in nature. Return to Banff for a relaxing evening.
Day 7: Explore Banff National Park
Spend the day discovering the natural beauty of Banff National Park. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, impressive scenery and time to explore Banff at your own pace. Browse the local shops, relax at a café or take in more of the surrounding landscapes. End your journey with a special farewell dinner.
Day 8: Farewell to the Rockies
Enjoy breakfast before saying goodbye to the Canadian Rockies. Transfer back to Calgary as your unforgettable journey comes to an end. Take in the mountain views along the way and reflect on the highlights of your trip. Your tour concludes in Calgary.
