Experience the elegance of Rovos Rail on a 3-night journey from Pretoria to Victoria Falls. Travel through South Africa and Zimbabwe in comfort, enjoying delicious meals, beautiful landscapes and a memorable wildlife experience. After arriving in Victoria Falls, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
Day 1
Depart Pretoria
Begin your journey at Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria, where you’ll enjoy a station tour and visit the private railway museum. Step aboard the elegant train and settle into your suite as the adventure begins. Enjoy lunch, afternoon tea and the changing landscapes of Limpopo Province. In the evening, dress for a formal dinner as the train travels north.
Day 2
Enjoy A Day on Board
Spend a leisurely day enjoying the comfort and charm of Rovos Rail. Watch the scenery change as the train crosses the Tropic of Capricorn and travels through the Soutpansberg Mountains. Continue through the semi-arid Limpopo River Valley towards the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe. Enjoy relaxed meals, afternoon tea and the beautiful views from the lounge or observation car.
Day 3
Hwange National Park
Enjoy breakfast on board as the train travels along one of the world’s longest stretches of straight railway line. After lunch, head out on a game drive through Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest wildlife area. Keep watch for elephants and other wildlife in this beautiful natural setting. Return to the train for dinner and spend your final evening enjoying the relaxed atmosphere on board.
Day 4
Victoria Falls and Your Flight Home
Arrive at Victoria Falls Station, where your Rovos Rail journey comes to an end. Take a transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your scheduled flight back to Johannesburg. Enjoy your final views of Zimbabwe before boarding your flight. Your TC Journey ends on arrival in Johannesburg.
