Welcome to my web page.

I'm Debby, a Travel Counsellor working from my home in a suburb of Midrand. Working from home means that I have the freedom to service clients wherever you may be in the world.

Travel was my passion even before I climbed on an airplane for the first time, a shy 21-year old, with backpack and baggage in tow. Traveling from Luxembourg to Greece, to Holland and then Israel, by train, plane and ferry was an amazing experience, and a life-lesson that I will never forget.

Much of my earlier travel was solo travel. I experienced 1 January 2000 in Ireland, flew to Paris for a weekend to celebrate my 40th, back to Paris a couple of years later to attend a creative workshop and in December 2018 travelled to and through parts of the Czech Republic visiting family with my husband. I was fortunate enough to travel to France twice in 2022, and to visit Milan for the first time. It might just slowly be trumping Paris as my favourite European city. Later this year I'll be on a river cruise through Germany and the Netherlands and spending Christmas in Amsterdam - something that I last did (and loved) in 1992! I love that my travel experiences may inspire you and help make your travels a little bit more special with insider tips.

Being a Travel Counsellor means that I am available to you outside of working hours and this allows me the flexibility of meeting with you in person, by phone, skype or email, at a time convenient to you. It also means that I have access to over 1,900+ Travel Counsellors around the world who have years of experience and knowledge that they share freely, ensuring that your travel experience is the best that it can be.

Doing the Camino de Santiago was tough and planning travel for a month was a daunting task. Debbie was fantastic, efficient and proactive.
