I'm Debby, a Travel Counsellor working from my home in a suburb of Midrand. Working from home means that I have the freedom to service clients wherever you may be in the world.
Travel was my passion even before I climbed on an airplane for the first time, a shy 21-year old, with backpack and baggage in tow. Traveling from Luxembourg to Greece, to Holland and then Israel, by train, plane and ferry was an amazing experience, and a life-lesson that I will never forget.
Much of my earlier travel was solo travel. I experienced 1 January 2000 in Ireland, flew to Paris for a weekend to celebrate my 40th, back to Paris a couple of years later to attend a creative workshop and in December 2018 travelled to and through parts of the Czech Republic visiting family with my husband. I was fortunate enough to travel to France twice in 2022, and to visit Milan for the first time. It might just slowly be trumping Paris as my favourite European city. Later this year I'll be on a river cruise through Germany and the Netherlands and spending Christmas in Amsterdam - something that I last did (and loved) in 1992! Being a Travel Counsellor means that I am available to you outside of working hours and this allows me the flexibility of meeting with you in person, by phone, skype or email, at a time convenient to you. Doing the Camino de Santiago was tough and planning travel for a month was a daunting task.

We recently returned from a wonderful 2 week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. I highly recommend Debby – she was a delight to work with and gave us such good information in planning our entire trip with a detailed itinerary. Our stay in various towns throughout Vietnam and Cambodia allowed us to see most of the attractions at an affordable price. I even roped her in to helping me plan my surprise proposal with my future wife while on a cruise in Halong Bay. As a referred client of Debby, I must say that I received the utmost best service from her! She made my holiday travels, stress free whilst ensuring that all my tickets were booked, and that I was checked in 24 hours prior to my flights. I received my itinerary, as well as my booking confirmations in time. My tickets were sent to me via email and on whatsapp 24 hours before my flight. This took a lot of stress off from me! I don't know about you, but checking in at an airport is one of the most stressful parts of my journey!
She also offered to arrange transportation for me from the airport to my destination and visa versa!
