My name is Maya and I am based on the West Coast, Matzikama District. I’ve recently moved here & loving life at the beach as well as all the outdoor activities available in this area.
I have enjoyed 28 years of working in the Travel Industry looking after both my leisure & corporate clients. It was something that I had always wanted to do right from the word go. I have had experience working in a travel agency as a consultant & later as a manager and I have also managed my own company for a few years. I began my travel career at an travel agency in Somerset West, and I had gained some more experience in London and travelled throughout Europe, USA, New Zealand, Indonesia etc... I later lived along the beautiful Garden Route in Plettenberg Bay & I returned to the Western Cape where I settled with my family.
I have made many bookings for clients travelling to South Africa & surrounding countries - this is where my German comes in handy! I speak English & Afrikaans fluently, having been born in South Africa.
As a young girl, I lived in Ireland for 2 years & throughout my working career, I have had the opportunity to travel extensively to many interesting places such as Indonesia & New Zealand; USA & Disney World; the Maldives, Mauritius, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain & extensively throughout Namibia & South Africa.
I decided to join Travel Counsellors in March 2010 and I have realised that I couldn't have made a better move! Travel Counsellors are the worldwide market leaders in operating and supporting a network of only the most experienced travel professionals.

Indien iemand 'n vakansie wil gaan hou, sal ek beslis vir Maya aanbeveel. Haar diens was puik. Dit was die 1ste keer wat ons oorsee gegaan het en dit nogal meestal per trein deur Europa. Ons het baie vrae gevra en goed verander en sy was baie geduldig met ons. Als was perfek bespreek en sy het ons volledige dokumente met alle besprekings en tye gegee van aankoms en vertrek en waar ons moet wees.
