Vic Falls by wheelchair, foot, helicopter, river-boat and car
From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by smiling, happy people who are willing to help, eager to please, and ready to tell stories of their land. We arrived as tourists and left with heavy hearts while saying farewell our new friends.
Although this was a bucket list & anniversary trip with my husband, I never take off my Travel Counsellors cap.
More so this time, as I wanted to highlight Vic Falls as a destination for people with limited mobility issues.
Every person is differently abled and so are their needs and requirements whilst travelling. During this trip, the times when we had challenges facing wheelchair access or concerns, they were quickly overcome by the wonderful people who were always willing to help.
If you would like hints and tips on experiencing Vic Falls with limited mobility, please contact me and we can discuss your personal requirements and make sure all is booked as necessary.
Travelling is not just about seeing a destination, it is about experiencing it too. From a helicopter flight, to a sundowner cruise, High tea at the Victoria Falls Hotel and viewing the falls in both Zimbabwe and Zambia; Vic Falls or the Zambezi River, it is all there for you to explore. The food is tasty and well made, restaurants are well maintained and the service is top notch.
