My name is Jelena Williams, and I am a Travel Counsellor, based in Bloemfontein. Originally I am from Riga, Latvia (Eastern Europe). Before coming to South Africa, I lived in Adare, Co. Limerick, Ireland for 3 years. I had an opportunity to travel extensively, experience different cultures, meet new people and discover new places. While in Ireland, I met and married my husband (South African), and finally, we moved down to South Africa, where I have lived ever since 2004.
I have worked in travel for over 20 years in South Africa. I have had an incredible opportunity to meet fantastic people, who have become my clients, and now friends. I have been able to share their travel experiences, their joy, and their happiness. Thanks to my loyal clients, I’ve won several awards for being one of the best travel consultants.
Becoming a Travel Counsellor allows me to dedicate my time to my client’s needs, where I get to know their likes and preferences, which helps me tailor-make their dream holidays. I am available 24/7, and I am happy to meet you in the comfort of your own office, home, or favorite coffee shop. For those living outside of Bloem, I am only a phone call away.

Jelena was really super-efficient after I had struggled with almost every travel agency that I had been to see, and in-contact with, in the Bloemfontein area. It took them nearly a week just to email me a quotation, and if I requested any more information or requested changes to be made, it took days before I had a response.
Jelena, I called her on a Saturday afternoon, we spoke, and in hardly an hour after that I had a quotation ready. If I was unsure about anything I could email or call and she will respond immediately, it felt really good to work with someone with an excellent work ethic.
I would most certainly recommend her to everyone I know who is travelling and who needs someone to handle their travel arrangements.
