Our Top books to read on holiday

Our Top books to read on holiday

For me, reading and travelling go hand-in-hand. There's no better way to spend a day by the beach than immersed in a good book.

Before the arrival of the Kindle, my biggest packing headache was how to fit in all the books I planned to read on my vacay!

I'm happy to report that our TCs, with thousands of travel miles under their collective belts, are of the same mind; holiday time equals reading time.

The best part of the love for reading is sharing it; you can't keep a good book to yourself! In that spirit, our TCs have shared some of their favourite holiday reads.

Why a Tented Camp Should Be Your Next Safari Adventure

22 October 2025

There’s a certain kind of magic that only a tented safari camp can offer. It’s that beautiful in-between where luxury meets wilderness, and your morning soundtrack is a lilting dawn chorus rather than an alarm clock. If you’ve ever dreamed of falling asleep to the distant whoop of a hyena or sipping your coffee as the first light spills across the savannah, a tented camp might just be your perfect kind of paradise.
