Qatar Airways economy and business class travels
I flew economy class from Johannesburg to Doha to London Gatwick. It was a comfortable flight and the service of the crew was great. They cleaned the toilets frequently, it seemed every 5 minutes, and they were in the cabin the whole night coming past with drinks or snacks. I could not fault them.
Hamad International Airport made a good impression! It is modern, clean, with wide open spaces, quick security, lots of information boards and it was so easy to find your way. There is a nice fast, clean train between the terminals. There are nice little surprises like sleeping rooms and TV areas where you can go and relax-in free of charge. There is good free Wi-fi and all this has made it a wonderful experience.
On my flight from London to Doha I got the opportunity to experience business class on a Boeing 787-8 this has the cubicle lie flat with the seat configuration of 1 - 2 - 1 it is so lovely and private. The beauty of the business class service is that you can decide what and when you would like to eat. I woke up and enjoyed a stunning cappuccino. I flew business class again on the Doha to Johannesburg route on a Boeing 777-300. This had a configuration of 2 – 2 – 2 and it was not the cubicle seat. Once again Qatar Airlines offered a great service, with a super comfortable lie flat bed and fabulous food!
I can honestly say it compares favorably with all the business class flights that I have done in the past and I would recommend Qatar Airlines with confidence. It made all the difference for my flights back to Port Elizabeth as I first flew from Antigua and it was a long trip. I am happy to continue selling Qatar Airways to my clients.
