Hello and Welcome My name is Lynne and I am a Travel Counsellor based in East London. I have lived in Cape Town and Elliot in the Eastern Cape, and I have a daughter in the USA and a brother in New Zealand. I know all about being far from family and friends, so wherever you are in the world I can help you re-unite.
I have over 20 years experience working for Travel Management companies and I have been privileged to travel to over 30 different countries around the world. Some of these destinations include the USA, New Zealand, UK and Ireland, Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Far East countries as well as various Indian Ocean Islands. Luckily I have “wings on my back” and my “seatbelt” has not yet been fastened as I still have so many bucket list places I would like to visit, with Croatia and Scandinavia being top of the list.
I have experienced all forms of travel from air, rail, cruising (ocean and river), coach tours and self-drive to walking city tours. Some of my most memorable moments have been a Hot Air Balloon ride Pamukkale, Turkey, watching turtles hatch on the beach on Nosy Iranja, Madagascar, getting up close and personal at the majestic Niagara Falls, USA to rolling down a hill in a Zorb in Rotarua, New Zealand.
Travel is my passion and as I love to make dreams come true, being a Travel Counsellor allows me to focus on you and to make it happen. From accommodation, transport and sightseeing to local food and drinks – anything is possible!

I could not have travelled to Scotland without Lynne's guidance and assistance. The flights had been cancelled, due to SA being on the Red list. New flights were booked by Lynne, without causing any hassle for me. Lynne kept in close contact with me throughout the process. She did the same for my daughter, who joined me in Scotland. I will definitely use Lynne again for my travels in 2023.

I have just returned from a 7 week trip to Portugal being very apprehensive with all the fears and restrictions around covid-19 during December. Lynne was just so amazingly professional with all the information and updates, from the best-priced flights to the electronic forms that I needed to complete to the timing to when I needed to do my PCR test and so much more... I have no words to express how grateful I am to Lynne for helping my family and I get back to South Africa for a family funeral. In an incredibly stressful time (not just emotionally, but with all the changing COVID regulations as well), and she was a beacon of calm. She always knew what was going on. She stayed up way beyond normal working hours to book our flights as soon as the latest red list information came in, and in doing so saved us a considerable amount of money and stress. Lynne assisted us with all the travel arrangements for our emigration to the UK in June 2021. Amid a global pandemic, she managed to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible, taking care of all our flights, quarantine hotel bookings, extra luggage requests and more with such kindness and attention to detail. I have been itching to travel again for the longest time and because of Covid, this hasn't been possible over the last year, so when Lynne emailed through an incredible deal for an all inclusive trip to Zanzibar, I didn't have to think twice before booking it.
Of course travelling during a pandemic can be quite a daunting experience and I expected a few hiccups along the way. However, Lynne took care of us every step of the way, ensuring all the necessary forms were completed and ready before arriving at each airport check . We were able to follow our booking progress through the Travel Counsellors App, where all our documents, tickets and payments were uploaded. The best part was waking up in the morning and peaking at the countdown to our trip, on the App. :)
Unfortunately our hotel in Zanzibar had experienced a fire and part of the hotel had burnt down. We were quite devastated and thought for sure that our dream holiday in Zanzibar had come to an end. Lynne worked her amazing travel counsellor magic and got us booked into a new hotel (which I actually think was better ;)) and we were back on track.
I could not recommend Lynne enough, not only was she organized and professional, she also made the experience personal, sending us her top tips for our trip and getting us all excited for our first trip in this pandemic. I have already started looking at possible holiday destinations for later this year and I trust that Lynne will have it all covered. :)

It's always a pleasant experience getting in touch with Lynne for any of my travel arrangements. She is friendly, compassionate, professional and very prompt with the service she delivers. I'm in the service industry myself and work as a Stewardess in the Yachting industry so my life is very fast paced and planning a holiday or even trying to get back to SA during COVID has been very strenuous. I never managed to make it back to SA for my best friend's wedding due to circumstances out of my control, but Lynne was very supportive and positive regardless. It's so important to love your job as Lynne does, but she is also empathetic which makes me feel comfortable and secure and happy to always use her in the future as I trust her. Lynne is also very thorough and just recently reminded me that we needed to change my flight details before the ticket expires. Without that reminder I would have forgotten. Lynne is all about quality and I would highly recommend using her to book your next travel experience.

Lynne was an invaluable help to me for my long-haul trip near the end of 2020. The global travel restrictions were changing on a near daily basis, resulting in various forms, test and processes being required. Lynne ensured that I was equipped with all of the required information both for my home and destination countries, and was also in touch with me over the Winter holiday to ensure all went smoothly; given the conditions it was a huge comfort to me to know that help was on hand.
