It's Nice To Meet You

Welcome to my webpage. I am Michelle Kaye, a born-and-bred Jo-burger! With technology the way it is, I can work from anywhere in the world, and my clients can get hold of me on the phone, email, or WhatsApp.

At the tender age of 5, my parents took us on a family holiday to the USA. We started our holiday at every kid’s dream destination, Walt Disney World. Need I say more? My passion for travel was born! After finishing school at the age of 17, I did a six-month travel course and started working in the industry at the age of 19. I have been in travel for 26 years and have grown a lot since that naïve 19-year-old!

I have been very fortunate to travel to every continent except for Antarctica. There are still many countries and cities I wish to visit. My favourite city in the world is New York. I love the bright lights and hustle-and-bustle of the city and enjoy wandering the streets, window shopping, people-watching, and eating delicious deli sandwiches!

My ultimate South African holiday destination and my happy place is the Greater Kruger National Park. I have been holidaying in the Kruger since my early childhood and find that a few days in the bush rejuvenates my soul.

I also love travelling to the Western Cape, in particular Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay. We are so fortunate to have such beautiful destinations on our doorstep. I have booked many visitors on trips around Southern Africa, with Victoria Falls on many a foreigner’s bucket list.

I am excited to be a Travel Counsellor and invite you along. Together we can plan awesome holidays for you!

Beyond helping design our trip to S. Africa, Michelle made me feel very comfortable with the decisions. Michelle, I revealed the birthday gift to my wife this weekend. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous as I wasn’t 100% sure that South Africa was of interest to her. Well … I was wrong. She was so excited and happy that she cried … in the restaurant ?? Good work!

Michelle - Thanks for following up. We are at Hoedspruit waiting to begin our journey home. Our time in South Africa was an awesome experience and we can't thank you enough. Everything from Fuzzy in Cape Town to Siviti has exceeded our every expectation. As you know the Siviti is simply tremendous. The rooms are luxurious, every meal is done perfectly, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and attentive. When it came to the game drives, we were blown away. We saw the Big 5 on every full day we were there and saw them all several times on a single game drive. The guides, Henrico and Nic, were great at finding and then putting us right on top of the animals and Henrico did a great job of educating us throughout. We leave Africa smarter and with memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. You designed a perfect experience for us - thank you.

Kerith and also Michelle, Just back home in England, i now have time to reflect on the wonderful trip you organised for us. For the short time we had to spare , the itinerary was perfect and the two hotels we stayed in were both excellent. We were very impressed by the wheelchair organisation and smooth transfers from one plane to another. The visit to the red dunes and the morning at sea were highlights ..... Absolutely everything I expect from a travel counselor. In travel there are allot of things to look at. which can make planning a trip seem allot of work . Also the chances of making a mistake which could negatively impact everything are good. For a small fee, that worry gets taken away from you, which to me is well worth it.
