Itinerary:

Day 1: Madrid

Arrive in the Spanish capital whenever it suits you best.

Day 2: Madrid

Join your Expedition Leader for a morning walk through Madrid’s historic centre, finishing with authentic tastings at a local market. The rest of the day is yours, perhaps to admire the masters at the Museo del Prado or simply relax at a terrace café.

Day 3: Madrid to Córdoba

Drive south to Toledo for a tour with a local historian, exploring its medieval streets and impressive Gothic cathedral. The journey then continues to Córdoba, formerly the capital of Al-Andalus and a city of immense historical weight.

Day 4: Córdoba to Granada

Explore the architectural wonder of the Mezquita and the winding lanes of the Jewish quarter with your guide. In the afternoon, transfer to Granada for an orientation walk to help you get your bearings in this fascinating city.

Day 5: Granada

Spend the day discovering the Alhambra, touring the intricate palaces and courtyards of this Moorish fortress. Later, you have free time to wander the Albayzín quarter and watch the sunset glow over the ancient citadel.

Day 6: Granada to Seville

Travel to Seville, pausing en route to explore the dramatic cliffside town of Ronda. Once arrived, you can climb the Giralda tower or visit the Casa Pilatos, with an option to catch a soulful flamenco performance in the evening.

Day 7: Seville

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the Santa Cruz quarter or the gardens of the Real Alcázar. A private dance class can be arranged for you in the birthplace of flamenco, or you can simply soak up the city's atmosphere.

Day 8: Seville

Your Andalusian journey concludes today, and you are free to depart at any time.
