Itinerary:

DAY 1: Victoria Falls

Your luxury rail adventure begins at the Victoria Falls Station in Zimbabwe, where you’ll step aboard and have time to freshen up in your suite. We encourage you to join your fellow travellers in the lounge or observation car to share the excitement of the journey ahead. As evening draws in, you will sit down to an elegant formal dinner in the dining cars whilst the train travels towards Malindi.

DAY 2: Hwange National Park

Start your morning with a continental breakfast before disembarking for an exhilarating game drive at The Hide in the magnificent Hwange National Park. Afterwards, enjoy lunch on board as you traverse one of the world’s longest stretches of straight railway line, passing through Bulawayo and the striking baobab country. Your day of exploration concludes with a formal dinner as we journey towards the border at Beitbridge.

DAY 3: At Leisure on Board

Today offers pure relaxation as you cross the famous Limpopo River, travelling through landscapes that inspired Rudyard Kipling’s tales. Watch the scenery change from the observation car as you cross the Tropic of Capricorn and wind through the mineral-rich region of Warmbaths. As the train climbs the edge of the escarpment where the Highveld drops away, prepare for your final formal dinner en route to Pyramid.

DAY 4: Pretoria
Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast in the dining cars while you prepare your luggage for collection. Your unforgettable journey across Southern Africa comes to an end as the train pulls into the private Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria. We hope you leave with wonderful memories as you disembark at your final destination.
