Day 1: Barcelona, Spain

Your voyage begins in Barcelona, the vibrant capital of Catalonia, a city of palpable history. This captivating city is the perfect starting point for your grand sea voyage, blending urban excitement with the allure of the Mediterranean.

Day 2: Nice/Monaco (Villefranche), France

Today, you will experience the enchanting allure of the French Riviera from the port of Villefranche. Stroll along the Old Harbour for majestic views of the Mediterranean, or discover the incredible artworks housed within Saint Michael's Church. For a change of scenery, you can trek up to the 16th-century Fort Du Mont Alban, which offers superb views overlooking the city.

Day 3: Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy

From Livorno, you have the privilege of visiting the Tuscan region, resplendent in art and history. The main attractions in Florence are centrally located, making it ideal for a perfect walking tour of the city’s highlights. You will have the opportunity to see the famous Santa Croce, the magnificent Piazza del Duomo, and of course, Michelangelo's peerless sculpture, David.

Day 5: Salerno, Italy

Discover Salerno, a city with a history as rich as its surrounding landscapes, nestled between the mountains and the sea. Located at the southeastern point of the famed Amalfi Coast, Salerno boasts sun-drenched beaches, nature reserves, and historic sites. You can also indulge in the delicious local cuisine for which the region is celebrated.

Day 6: Messina (Sicily), Italy

The third-largest city on the island of Sicily, Messina, welcomes you with its lovely harbour and extraordinary architecture. Stroll through Messina's Piazza Cairoli, taking in its magnificent fountains and cathedrals. Alternatively, find a spot at a sidewalk café to sip a glass of local Marsala wine and watch the world go by.

Today you will visit the volcanic island of Santorini, one of the most widely photographed places in the world. Its famous whitewashed villages clinging to the sides of sea cliffs are a truly remarkable sight. The island's unique charm and subtle mystery have even made it a subject of speculation as the possible location of the lost city of Atlantis.

Day 10: Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Your cruise concludes in the cradle of civilisation, Athens, the oldest city in Europe. This city is home to the Acropolis and some of the most important architectural finds in the Western world. Beyond its ancient past, it is also a very modern city, offering an urban amalgam of extraordinary art, culture, and cuisine.
