Day 1 – Embark in Budapest

Your adventure begins as you board the elegant Trafalgar Reverie, where you’ll settle in and enjoy your first evening on board. Share stories over dinner with your fellow travellers as you get ready for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2 – Exploring Historic Budapest

Discover Budapest, a city of contrasts and charm. Take in the sights of Buda and Pest, from the grandeur of Heroes' Square to the splendour of Fisherman’s Bastion. Fancy something different? Opt for a food tour and indulge in local delicacies. Later, marvel at iconic views as you sail past picturesque bends in the Danube.

Day 3 – Step Ashore in Bratislava

Cruise along the serene stretch of river separating Hungary and Slovakia before arriving in Bratislava. Stroll through the old town, taking in historical gems like St. Martin’s Cathedral and Michael’s Gate. For a glimpse into the past, explore life under Communist rule, or for the active adventurer, hike up to Bratislava Castle for panoramic views.

Day 4 – Experience Vienna’s Elegance

Immerse yourself in Vienna’s imperial grandeur. Take a guided walk through the old town and admire iconic landmarks. Treat yourself to a slice of indulgence at a traditional coffee house or step into Mozart’s world with a fascinating museum visit. Wrap up your day with optional experiences, from a visit to Schönbrunn Palace to a classical music concert.

Day 5 – Journey Through the Wachau Valley

Sail through the breathtaking Wachau Valley, dotted with vineyards and medieval castles. Stop at Spitz for a guided tour and savour a special lunch at Austria’s oldest winery. Pass by the magnificent Melk Abbey as you continue your scenic voyage.

Day 6 – Discover Linz and Beyond

Explore Linz’s historic streets or venture further afield with optional excursions. Visit Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, or lose yourself in the storybook charm of Ceský Krumlov. Whichever you choose, the day promises unforgettable moments.

Day 7 – A Day in Passau

Arrive in Passau, where three rivers meet. Stroll the cobbled streets of the old town or enjoy a scenic hike along the Ilz River. Wrap up the day with a Bavarian beer and pretzel experience, complete with lively music to set the tone.

Day 8 – Farewell in Passau

Bid farewell to the Trafalgar Reverie and reflect on the memories made. Disembark with plenty of stories and a longing to return.
