Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Copenhagen

Welcome to Copenhagen, a city where fairy tales meet modern charm. Begin your Scandinavian adventure by exploring the lively streets and colourful facades of this Danish capital. Stroll through the 17th-century Nyhavn harbour or soak up the atmosphere at Tivoli Gardens, home to thrilling rides and old-world charm as Europe’s second-oldest amusement park. Later, meet your Travel Director and fellow explorers for a warm welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 2 – Discovering Copenhagen

Uncover why Copenhagen consistently ranks among the world’s most liveable cities. A Local Guide will lead you through bustling streets and serene canals to sights including Christiansborg Palace and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Afterwards, enjoy free time to make your own discoveries. Perhaps join a side trip to the Danish Riviera, where Frederiksborg Castle awaits, or explore the quaint village of Dragør with its charming thatched cottages. Day 3 – Copenhagen to Oslo

Set off for Norway today, crossing the Øresund Strait by ferry en route to Sweden. Scenic views of sparkling bays, rugged coastlines, and pine forests accompany your drive northward. Stop in Gothenburg before reaching Oslo, where contemporary city life mingles with Viking heritage. Take in the peaceful parks, flower-lined boulevards, and lively waterways of Norway’s vibrant capital.

Day 4 – Oslo Sights and Journey to Vrådal

This morning, explore Oslo’s major highlights with your Local Guide. See the medieval Akershus Fortress, the imposing Royal Palace, and Frogner Park, home to sculptor Gustav Vigeland’s dramatic creations. After some free time to wander, you’ll head into the Telemark region, famous for its deep ties to skiing and the great outdoors. Share an evening meal with your fellow travellers as you settle into your picturesque surroundings.

Day 5 – Vrådal to Bergen

Navigate breathtaking mountain landscapes as you head towards Bergen by way of Hardangerfjord, nicknamed the "Queen of the Fjords". Arriving in Bergen, you’ll uncover the Hanseatic history of this old trading city, surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords. Day 8 – Sognefjord (Lærdal) to Lillehammer (Hamar)

Day 11 – Highlights of Stockholm

Spend your morning exploring Stockholm’s iconic landmarks alongside a Local Guide. Marvel at the medieval Storkyrkan, Swedish Parliament, and the Royal Palace. Optional experiences beckon, like visiting Stockholm City Hall or soaking in the marine history of the 17th-century Vasa ship.
