New York City

Seattle

Denver

Positioned exactly one mile above sea level and just east of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is one of the highest major cities in the USA. It’s also one of the most culturally rich, with locals electing to dedicate a 1% sales tax to cultural and scientific endeavours in the area.

Miami

Sunshine, pastel-hued art deco buildings and spicy Caribbean food are just a few of the things that make up the stunning melting pot that is Miami. This vibrant city is heavily influenced by Hispanic culture with great food, exciting nightlife and plenty of dancing at all hours of the day.

Travel Counsellor Sally loves Miami, and recommends visiting Little Havana, "It is rumoured that one could spend a whole day in Little Havana without hearing a word of English spoken. Saturated with Cuban culture, Little Havana's main thoroughfare, Calle Ocho (Eighth Street) is lined with comfort food restaurants featuring Latin specialities and cafes where men sip cafecitos and play dominos and argue about politics all day. Here, artisans still hand-roll cigars, and tailors create custom guayaberas (traditional linen shirts), while the sounds of salsa and merengue fill the air."

Boston

If lobster and fresh seafood make your mouth water, it’s time to plan a trip to Boston! Located near to Cape Cod, this historic city is a central hub for New England. It’s also known for its literary culture with many famous writers spending time in the area. Children can enjoy the vast indoor playground that is the Children’s Museum with plenty to learn along the way. Try the Balance Climb, a three-storey climbing structure made of wires and plywood sails. 

Philadelphia

Philadelphia's relaxed atmosphere makes it feel like a much smaller city. It’s home to the world’s largest landscaped park, Fairmount Park, and has more outdoor artworks than any other American city. Philadelphia was also home to America’s first hospital, library and stock exchange!
