Knysna Elephant Park
Located halfway between Knysna & Plett, they offer you the opportunity to get up close and personal with their herd of 5 elephants – what an amazing experience & privilege to interact with these majestic animals.
As you wait for your tour to start, you immerse yourself in a big room full of beautiful pictures of the herd, displays and information about the elephants. Once your tour guide arrives, you watch a short informative video, then are transported to the field where you get to feed & walk amongst the elephants in their environment.
Our guide was fantastic! Offered tons of information, fun facts and took photos of us with the herd. Feeding them was fantastic & it was great to watch my kiddos enjoy the special experience.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a bite to eat at the onsite restaurant, while the kids made some new friends on the playground – good times! ??
