On this holiday you will get to explore and see first-hand Thailands Nature and Culture. From here you will visit Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Kanchanaburi. In Bangkok there are so many amazing cultural landmarks just waiting for you to discover. Chiang Mai is home to the most honoured temples.

At Kanchanaburi you will enjoy a once in a lifetime experience at Elephants World where you’ll have the opportunity to meet, feed and work with the elephants.

Your itinerary
Day 1: Chiang Mai
Welcome to Thailand.

After finalizing immigration formalities and collecting your luggage, please, walk into the arrival area. Our driver will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name. You will be transferred to your hotel.

Standard check-in time in the hotels in Thailand is 2 pm. Early check-in is a subject of availability.

The rest of the day is at leisure. Hotel: Bodhi Serene Hotel. Room Type: Superior. Inclusions: Transfer from airport to hotel.

Day 2: Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon NP tour (B/L)
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am.

Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain of Thailand (2,565 m). It was declared a national park in 1972. The park boasts the greatest diversity of forest types and bird species found in any single park in the country and has many beautiful waterfalls. You will start your visit with driving up to the summit of Doi Inthanon where you will visit two chedis that have been constructed here to honour the 60th birthday of the King and Queen.

After admiring the view, you will stop at Hmong market, where products from the Royal Project are for sale. After lunch at a local restaurant, a ten minute drive will take you to the starting point of the trek.

You will trek for about two hours along a majestic waterfall. A local Karen guide will accompany you during trekking. The trek is not hard, you will cross river several times.

This multi-tiered waterfall cascades wildly towards the Karen village Ban Mae Klang Luang, where the trek ends. You will spend some time in the village, learning about coffee cultivation. You can taste a delicious cup of Mae Klang Luang coffee, if you like.

Drive to Chiang Mai with a stop at Vachirathan waterfalls (no swimming).

Day 3: Chiang Mai – Elephant Nature Park (B/L)
Your guide will meet you at the hotel at 8 am. After all participants are in the bus, you will drive Elephant Nature Park. The aim of the park is to provide a sanctuary for elephants to live in a peaceful natural environment. Alongside the elephants, there are also plenty of other animals: buffalos, dogs, cats, birds and many other rescued animals.

During your day visit, you will participate in following activities:
Feeding the elephants

Observing the herd – with your guide you will walk around the park, observing the elephants in their chosen herds, and will learn about the life of Asian elephants, and personal stories of the gentle giants rescued by the ENP.

Observing elephants bathing – you will walk with your guide and the elephants to the river that borders the park. Watch elephants from the river bank as they splash in cool water.

Observing interactions – after bathing, some elephants might want to head to the mud pit, while others would go to the sand pit, to cover themselves in the sand. You will learn from your guide about different forms of interactions between elephants.

Visit other rescued animals – you will visit ENP dog project and will learn about local dog adoption program. If there is time, they guide will also show you other ENP projects for rescued animals.

Visit Hands Off project – you will visit a new ENP project, where you will be able to observe elephants roaming free from a sky walk. This is a great way not only to see elephants in their natural habitat, but will also allow you to take excellent photos.

Buffet lunch of vegetarian Asian and Western dishes will be served during your visit to the park.

In the late afternoon (around 3:30 pm) it will be the time for goodbyes to the elephants and to Elephant Nature Park before an hour-long drive back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped off at your accommodation. Day 4: Bangkok (B)
At agreed upon time, our driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, and you will travel to Chiang Mai airport.

After a short flight, you will arrive to Bangkok – capital of Thailand. Upon collecting your luggage, please, walk into the arrival area, where you will be greeted by our driver.

Transfer to your hotel in Bangkok will take approximately one hour.

Check in time is 2 pm. Early check in is a subject of availability.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore Bangkok.

Day 5: Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
You will be picked up from your hotel at 6 am and will travel to Kanchanaburi province. Upon arrival (approximately 3 hours drive) you will start with visiting Thailand-Burma railway center - an interactive museum dedicated to the events of WWII and Japanese invasion of SE Asia. You will learn about the lives of POW who built the railway, and will also visit Allied War cemetery. Then you will continue to the famous Bridge over River Kwai.

After touring, you will take a long-tail boat to Jungle Rafts. There you will check into your room and will have lunch.

At 2:45 pm you will get back in the long-tail boat and will travel downstream to Phu Takian pier. From there you will be transferred to Hellfire pass memorial. Return back to the Jungle Rafts in the afternoon. After dinner you will wat a traditional Mon dance performance.

Day 6: Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will board a long-tail boat again and will head upstream, to visit Saiyoke Yai waterfall and the national park. You will return to the Rafts for lunch, and then will visit Lawa cave to explore fascinating stalactites.

Afternoon at leisure to relax, swim and maybe take a bamboo raft or canoe tour (own expenses).

Dinner will be served in the hotel. Hotel: River Kwai Jungle Rafts. Room Type: Standard.Inclusions: As per progam above – join-in activity.

Day 7: Bangkok (B/L)
After breakfast and checking out, you will visit nearby Mon tribe village, and will take an easy walk through the rainforest. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

After the meal you will take a ride on the local railway passing the original wooden viaduct constructed by allied POW.
At 2:30 pm you will board your transfer and will travel back to your hotel in Bangkok. You will arrive back to your hotel at approximately 6 pm or later (depends on traffic)

Day 8: Bangkok - departure (B)
Check out time is 12 pm (midday). If your flight departs in the evening, you can leave your bags in the hotel storage until your transfer arrives.

At agreed upon time your driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby and you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

Inclusions: Transfer form the hotel to the airport.
