Renowned for its Mediterranean sailings, MSC Cruises has just launched its next generation of vessels with the addition of MSC Seaview to its fleet.
Sailing both the Mediterranean and to South America, Seaview will bring you closer to the seas than ever before. Its stand-out feature is its glorious 360° promenade – unique to this ship. Glass balustrades encircling the entire vessel will give you the chance to gaze down into deep blue depths or towards the shore as it comes into view. This one-of-a-kind walkway is lined with restaurants with alfresco dining, bars and boutiques.
With the capacity to welcome more than 5,000 passengers, Seaview has a whole array of attractions and amenities that will thrill your family and ensure you have a comfortable, relaxing and fun trip.
For young sailors the Seaview has five kids’ clubs for different age groups from tots to teens. Children will also love the ship’s multi-deck water park, including two racing slides with clear loops extending over the side of the ship, a 112m water chute with lights and music, and an AquaPlay™ area for toddlers.
Other family hits are two full-sized bowling lanes, LEGO®- and Chicco-designed play areas and a kids-only restaurant.
Take advantage of state-of-the-art cardio equipment in the vessel’s cutting-edge gym, indulge yourself with soothing signature relaxation treatments in the MSC Aurea Spa, and sip rich coffees and cocktails in one of the ship’s 20 stylish bars and lounges.
You’re also in for a culinary adventure onboard the MSC Seaview, with nine top-notch buffet and à la carte restaurants offering flavours from around the globe, from prime steak and sushi to escargot and breakfast crêpes.
MSC Seaview has a pioneering ‘beach condo’ concept, bringing you closer to the sea by providing spectacular views of the water from various public spaces. There are also more balcony cabins than on any other MSC vessels.
Spacious rooms and suites onboard MSC Seaview come with contemporary decor, large wardrobes, minibars and interactive TVs. Seaview also provides cabins specifically for families, comprising of two or three connecting cabins, each with their own bathroom and balcony.
These SuperFamily cabins are only available with the Fantastica Experience, whereby you can upgrade for benefits including your choice of preferred dining times, access to Broadway-style theatre shows, complimentary kids’ club access, cabins on the upper decks and in the most desirable areas of the ship, 24-hour room service and much more.
MSC Seaview will spend 2018 sailing between her home ports of Barcelona, Marseille and Genoa, stopping at fascinating destinations such as the 2018 European Capital of Culture and Maltese capital Valletta, with elegant 16th-century architecture lining the streets that the Knights of St John used to roam, and Naples, where your kids can explore the birthplace of pizza, visit the evocative remains of Pompeii and climb Mount Vesuvius.
MSC Seaview will also be heading across the Atlantic to South America, with several voyages highlighting the best of the Brazilian coastline. Each cruise departs and terminates at the port of Santos, just south of cosmopolitan Sao Paulo, where kids can get involved at interactive science museum Museu Catavento or enjoy the fine white sands of the Santos coast.
Other destinations include Salvador, Brazil’s musical and cultural capital, with live music on its streets and beautiful, rugged scenery, and Camboriú, a resort city that is home to Park Unipraias, a six-hectare urban reserve with cable cars connecting it with the beach and city on a spectacular half-hour ride over Atlantic rainforest.
With sailings scheduled right through 2019, there’s plenty of choice and availability, with your ideal cruise just a phone call away.
