Complemented by gourmet cuisine, vibrant storytelling and impeccable service, a Rocky Mountaineer journey is a feast for the senses.

Enjoy two spectacular days onboard the train as you take in plenty of incredible sights along the way including the majestic Cisco Crossing and Castle Mountain, towering over the tracks at 2,766 metres. Don’t miss a minute of the magic as you travel only during daylight hours, and stay in a carefully selected hotel room in Kamloops for the evening.
On this six-day journey, spend your first day exploring the coastal city of Vancouver in your own time, exploring local restaurants or discovering beautiful beaches, then relax for the evening in one of Rocky Mountaineer’s especially selected hotels. Your adventure awaits as you board the train on Day 2 and watch the dramatic scenery change from forests to river canyons to the desert-like lands of the BC interior. Conclude your evening exploring the city of Kamloops and its fascinating history.
Journey onwards to Lake Louise and visit Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake and Kicking Horse River. You’ll then head on to Banff where you will stay overnight. Start in the city of Vancouver and explore at your leisure and on the second day board your train bright and early to head off the Kamloops. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide.
Day four comes with a helicopter ride to Cariboos Lodge and for the rest of the afternoon you can relax and unwind in the spa or grab a drink in the lounge. Spend the next couple of days exploring the mountainous skyline from dizzying heights on several helicopter rides and take advantage of the awe-inspiring hiking routes.
After your final hike, head back to Banff and enjoy the incredible drive down the Icefields Parkway. The next day is to be spent at your leisure, and optional activities include soaking in the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, enjoying a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, visiting Banff’s historic museums, cruising on Lake Minnewanka or playing a round of golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs.
