For the ultimate in opulence, the superlative Signature suites include the underwater suites which look out into the Ambassador Lagoon and offer an experience unlike anywhere else in the world. Wake up to views of the ancient ruins of the mythical lost city of Atlantis and its 65,000 inhabitants through floor-to-ceiling windows looking straight into the waters.
Both three-storey suites, aptly named Poseidon and Neptune, come complete with extravagant perks such as soap flecked with gold flakes, Dom Perignon champagne, and round-the-clock butler service.
TC Top Tip: Book the Ultimate Dive for two trips into the tank surrounding you, and on your second dive, you’ll get to feed the stingrays.
The legend of the Lost City of Atlantis exists in the form of Dubai’s Aquaventure Waterpark, situated within the visually stunning confines of the Palm Islands on the city’s coastline. This adrenaline-inducing attraction boasts 42 tropical acres of waterfalls, tidal rivers, and slides plus a newly renovated small children's area called Splashers Island.
“We headed to Aquaventure for an afternoon of fun in the water park. The slides were great fun, although a bit scary. It’s great for the kids, access is complimentary when you’re a hotel resident, and there’s enough to do to keep everyone occupied all day, a lot of the slides come with double inflatables, so you and the kids can ride together.”
