Give your kids the whirlwind long-haul adventure of a lifetime by letting Qantas whisk you away to the other side of the world. Next year the company is planning to launch a non-stop flight from London to Perth, a city which serves as your gateway to the thrilling destination of Australia!
It takes around 17 hours to fly from London to Perth, covering a distance of over 14,000km. It’s common to stopover on the London to Perth journey, prolonging your travel time, but things are set to change on 25th March 2018. Qantas will launch its non-stop London – Perth flight via the ‘Qantas Dreamliner’, giving you improved comfort and shorter travel times.
Designed to provide 236 passengers with maximum comfort on long haul flights, the Qantas Dreamliner is revolutionary. You’ll have more space, whether you’re sitting in economy, premium economy or business class, along with easier aisle access so you can stretch your legs.
Experience outstanding dining options and perks, whatever class you travel. Those in economy will enjoy a selection of three meals in-flight, a full-service snack bar and access to 1,500 entertainment options from interactive games to movies, so the kids will have plenty to do. Upgrade to premium economy and receive on-demand, in-flight entertainment via a personal adjustable touch screen, as well as extra legroom through an extendible footrest.
Travel in style by flying business class on Qantas Dreamliner flights. The minute you step out of your front door you’ll be greeted by a chauffeur, who will drive your family to the airport. Onboard you’ll have the opportunity to try Qantas and restaurant group Rockpool’s unique restaurant-esque dining experience, with an a la carte menu featuring tantalising signature dishes, an award-winning wine list and an eight-course tasting menu.
Qantas’ first non-stop flight from London to Perth will depart London Heathrow at 1:30pm on 25th March 2018, arriving in Perth the next day at 1:15pm, before flying on to Melbourne. Take this flight and experience one of Australia’s most exciting destinations, as Melbourne provides fun for all the family. Popular attractions include Yarra River – a popular canoeing spot, the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium which has penguins, and Luna Park, where you can enjoy mirror mazes and dodgems!
With Qantas’ multi-city fare you can connect to 10 destinations throughout the country on this flight.
