Flavours of Grenada Food and Beverage Festival (20th to 27th May): Foodies will be in their element at this week-long annual festival. Featuring events that encourage you to relax, revitalise and restore inner balance, immerse yourself in an eclectic blend of culinary and wellness experiences. The event culminates with a sail along the island’s stunning coastline, before stopping off on one of the breath-taking beaches for a tropical picnic and some rum-flavoured drinks.

Grenada Chocolate Fest (31st May to 7th June): A celebration of the island’s delicious organic chocolate, indulge in a range of unique experiences during this week-long annual celebration.

Visit organic cocoa plantations nestled in the lush Caribbean rainforest, make your own exquisite organic chocolate, hear the story of Grenada’s deep cocoa farming roots, ‘dance the cocoa’ and indulge in delicious chocolate-inspired cuisine. This cocoa-infused island festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for chocolate lovers.

Grenada Carnival (12th to 13th August): Also known as ‘Spicemas’, the Grenada Carnival is the island’s premier cultural event. A Grenadian expression in all its glory, this fabulous annual festival is bursting with pageantry and expression linked to the island’s African, French, British and Caribbean heritage. Colourful, humorous and full of surprises, prepare to be wowed by the calypso bands, steel pan orchestras, parades and costumes.

Grenada’s entry at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, ‘A Carnival of Exotic Tropical Blooms’ won a highly coveted Gold Medal, the island’s fifteenth to date. An energetic representation of the colourful outfits worn by revellers at the annual ‘Spicemas’ carnival celebrations, lucky visitors to the annual flower show had the chance to experience a Grenada festival right here in the UK.

Pure Grenada Dive Fest (29th September to 4th October): Grenada is home to over 30 intriguing dive sites, including the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean, the ‘Bianca C’, and the world’s first underwater sculpture park. A celebration with something for all abilities, whether you’re a newbie or seasoned diver, delve down to some of the island’s most famous wrecks and be inspired by the diverse reef and marine life.
