TC Conference Mauritius - May 2012

Mauritius.....island, good weather, nice people, stunning hotels, palm trees, turquoise water, white sandy beaches, and yummy cocktails - a dream destination! Mauritius is 2 hours ahead of SA time and the flying time from Johannesburg is 4 hours. I flew on SAA from Cape Town via Johannesburg to Mauritius on the 17th of May to attend the SA Travel Counsellor's conference in Mauritius held at Beachcomber's Shandrani Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. On Sunday we departed for the International Gold Travel Counsellors weekend at Beachcomber's Dinarobin Hotel for 2 nights. I returned back to Cape Town on SAA on the 22nd of May after a wonderful 5 night stay and great conference meeting old and new Travel Counsellors from South Africa and meeting Travel Counsellors from the UK, Ireland, Australia and Dubai as well as management and suppliers. I had the opportunity to visit and do hotel inspection of Le Preskil Hotel and Paradise Beach luxury self catering apartments as well as Beachcomber's Le Mauricia and Le Victoria Hotels during my stay in Mauritius,

The Beachcomber Hotels that I visited: Shandrani Resort and Spa – 5 Star Dinarobin Hotel Golf and Spa - 5 Star DELUXE Le Mauricia - 4 Star Le Victoria 4 Star SUPERIOR

Beachcomber Hotels are GREAT for couples, weddings, families and conferences!

Preskîl Beach Resort - 4 Star is situated on a natural private peninsula along the South East Coast of Mauritius at Pointe Jérôme, near the historical village of Mahébourg and is a mere 15 minute drive from the Airport. Paradise Beach - Luxury Villa Apartments - self catering: Paradise Beach is a boutique style beachfront holiday complex comprising of 8 luxury apartments and 2 penthouses. It is located directly on the beach in Pointe D'Esny, on the south east coast of Mauritius and is a 15 minute drive from the airport.

Please contact me for quotes or more info of mentioned hotels or other hotels on the island! I will be more than happy to assist. I can offer you lots of tips and advise on what to do, where to go as this was my 5th visit to Mauritius and I hope to visit this island again soon.

Au revoir, until we meet again...
