Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Porto and check into your comfortable 4-star hotel.
Day 2: Take a transfer to the train station and enjoy a scenic rail journey through the Douro Valley, arriving in the charming town of Pinhão.
Day 3: Set off on your first walk – a gentle 9km route from Pinhão to Vilarinho de São Romão. Meals today include breakfast, a packed lunch, and dinner.
Day 4: Enjoy a 13km circular walk through the beautiful countryside along the River Pinhão. Breakfast, a packed lunch, and dinner are all included.
Day 5: Today’s 16km walk takes you from Vilarinho de São Romão to Alijó, passing through scenic vineyard landscapes. Includes breakfast and a packed lunch.
Day 6: Head out on a 15km loop walk with great views near São Mamede da Ribatua. Breakfast and a packed lunch are provided.
Day 7: Walk 14km from Alijó to the hilltop village of Casal de Loivos, with incredible views over the valley. Includes breakfast and a packed lunch.
