Why your next holiday should be a cruise?

This is one of my favourite kinds of holidays and I have been lucky enough to do 3 cruises. I have cruised to the Portuguese Islands in Mozambique for 3 nights, the Caribbean for 7 nights and the Mediterranean for 10 nights.

Here are some of the reasons why cruise holidays are so popular:

You don’t waste time getting from A to B, the journey is part of the holiday and you are not stuck in a seat on a plane, train or bus. You can have loads of fun while you move between ports.

Unpack once, settle in your cabin while you get to see lots of different places. Visiting multiple city destinations on land involve lots of time packing and unpacking, travelling, checking in and out of hotels, getting to and from airports and hotels. On a cruise, you can experience multiple destinations that are hassle free.

Cruises offer great value for money as the price includes meals, accommodation, entertainments, activities and transport. It appeals to all ages so is a great holiday for a multi-generational family. Honeymooners to families will both enjoy a cruise.

There are unlimited options for entertainment, activities and pampering. The ships are getting bigger and better. They have incredible spas, gyms and children’s activities. You will be blown away with what you can do on a ship from ice skating, to bumper cars, to wave rides to basketball to mention just a few.

There are ships and itineraries to suit your bucket list and your pocket.

It is a flexible holiday, though there is a daily program, you decide what you want to do and there so many choices even on a sea day. When in port you can participate in an organized tour or do your own thing. You can choose to wander the streets, relax in a coffee shop, go shopping, catch a bus or stay on board and enjoy the ship while everyone else is on-shore.

There are many ways to determine your total cost upfront, by pre-booking excursions, beverage packages or even spa packages.

If you have never cruised before, I would recommend that you give it a try, or if you love cruising but would love more information on the new ships or new destinations then please contact me to find the one that suits you best.
