Now days most people have android or iPhones and here are some really handy apps to use when travelling.

WiFox allows users around the world to add password information from airports and share it with other users. The app displays available Wi-Fi hotspots on a map. Users can then click on their desired hotpot and the app will display all its information, including the password.

Pocket First Aid and CPR gives you instructions for first aid and it can also save your medical information to be able to access this information safe. City Maps 2Go, this app lets you save comprehensive, detailed street maps of whatever city you’re visiting, which you can both bookmark, it gives you guides and destination suggestions, all without an Internet connection.

Google Maps gives you traffic updates, public transport. There are city tours with 360 views and voice guided tours. This is a free app on Android and iPhones.

Wi-Fi Finder, will help you locate free and paid Wi-Fi hotspots where you are in the world. You can search for public Wi-Fi.

Spyglass gps app, if looking for navigation this app has a lot of features for those who are not very good at finding their way. It shows your accurate position on a map and allows to save locations for tracking like your hotel.

Google Translate allows you to type in a word or speak a phrase. It can translate it into 58 languages or hear it in 23 languages. This can be very handy in emergencies. It is free on Android, iPhone and iPad. TravelSafe Pro provides critical safety information for the country you are travelling in. It gives emergency numbers and vital embassy information.

Kids Aid app gives emergency information for example how to give CPR or what to do in case of poisoning. This helps when you can’t speak the language of the country to explain what is wrong.
