This is part 2 of the feedback from a client who recently visited America, please start on part 1 :)

Friday 30 Sep 16 We went to Hollywood Studio’s, it is really interesting and was an unexpected surprise! We rode the Aerosmith crazy roller coaster and watched the Indiana Jones stunt show, we all went through the Hollywood experience ride, and we we took photos with some of the Disney Characters like Donald & Daisy.

We ended the day and chilled at the hotel pool. We had an early night after having fel that we had accomplished everything we could at Disney – we had a “magical” time over the past few days.

I had four runs while I was in Disney. They have great paths and running routes for interested holidaymakers.

Saturday 1 Oct 16 This was our travel day to Washington DC. The bus service to the airport was efficient and on time. This was my second time to Washington DC and it is a great fun city. We started the afternoon with a walk around the White House to the Washington Monument, etc.

As mentioned the hotel itself was neat and tidy, the rooms were nice, big and spacious. The hotel was next to the train station. These is a rejuvenation project happenin in the area.

Sunday 2 Oct 16 We did the Big Bus Tour, covering all routes and seeing all the sights – climbing on and off all day. The route which was surprising was the Dupont and George Town areas. George Town has great little cake shops, restaurants and pubs. Baked and Wired was an awesome cake and coffee shop making beautiful handmade cupcakes and other cakes.

We had a great meal in China Town in the late afternoon evening, and it was one of our favourite meals.

Monday 3 Oct 16 In the morning we walked from our hotel around Capitol Hill and then to some of the Smithsonian Museums & the Natural History Museum. It was all worthwhile.

In the afternoon we flew to New York. The Westin Hotel is a great hotel just to the side of the Chrysler Building which was so nice and central. We went straight into Times Square to look around and soak up the lights / sights. We also had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

New York week We bought a two day Big Bus Tour and saw all the sights and hopped on and off when necessary. We added the Statue of Liberty ferry trip, the 9/11 tour of the new museum which was unbelievably interesting and highly recommended, the Empire State Building, Macy’s, M&M’s World, we ate breakfast at a diner (Stardust Diner), went down town for a meal in Little Italy, visited Madam Tussauds, ate at a lovely Mexican Restaurant (Chevy’s), ate plenty of Dunkin Donuts, enjoyed great burgers at Five Guys, we ate cake from the Cake Boss creator (Carlos Bakery), we spent some time shopping, we walked in Central Park (& I ran there twice – this was a real treat), etc. The night tour on the bus was really good too.

The trains and taxis in New York are easy to use, especially the train during rush hour.

Saturday 8 Oct 16 – we got on the plane after having a great two week break.

Thanks for all your help Margot, we really enjoyed ourselves.
