The Clarendon Fresnaye holds a rich history having once been owned by the Earl of Clarendon, the Governor of The Cape. This family-run boutique hotel is a heritage building and was established by the present owner in 1996. It boasts 16 luxurious bedrooms.

Cradled along the slopes of Lions Head, it is located in the idyllic suburb of Fresnaye, and caters to families, honeymooners as well as to the discerning traveller who wants to enjoy the best of Cape Town. Guests can enjoy a wonderful oasis of rich green lawns and sparkling swimming pools, set in a tranquil paradise against the backdrop of a mass of pink bougainvillea.
