Day 1:
Arrival at Lisbon airport. Check-in to your hotel accommodation in Lisbon (or nearby, depending on preference and availability).

Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel. Our suggestions for this day:
Visit Lisbon, starting with the monumental quarter of Belem and the beautiful church of the Monastery of Jeronimos, then stopping by the ex-libris of the city – the Belem Tower and finally passing by the Monument to the Discoveries. Continue towards the city centre – Praça do Comercio – then up to the most ancient quarter of the city – Alfama – walk through its narrow streets. Enjoy the view from the Santa Luzia Belvedere.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional local restaurant.
Continue on to the historic quarters of Chiado and Bairro Alto. Also pass by Restauradores Square, Avenida da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Our suggestions for this day:
Dedicate to the sightseeing of Estoril Coast and Sintra. Sintra is a charming small town located 30 km from Lisbon and declared World Patrimony of UNESCO. Visit the National Palace of Sintra in the historical centre.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and the small shops in the centre.
Continue along the coast to the Cabo da Roca – the most western point of Europe – and enjoy the magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean. Pass by the beautiful beach of Guincho before reaching Cascais – a charming seaside town.

Day 4:
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from your hotel. Our suggestions for this day:

Head north with a first stop at the medieval town of Obidos - have a walk through its narrow streets and white-washed houses.
Stop at the fishing village of Nazare.

Continue heading north and visit the impressive Monastery of Batalha, with its beautiful cloisters.

Continue to Fatima – one of the most important places of the Christian pilgrimage. Visit the Sanctuary and the Basilica.
Check-in to your hotel accommodation in Coimbra (or nearby, depending on preference and availability).

Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out formalities. Our suggestions for this day:

Visit Coimbra - the city of students – its University and beautiful 18th century Library, the Old and New Cathedral and the historical centre of Coimbra.
Continue to Oporto – the second largest city of Portugal. Explore the city and visit the Stock Exchange Palace, the Praca da Batalha, Avenida dos Aliados, Ribeira historical quarter and one of the famous Portwine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, with wine tasting. Also enjoy a 50-minute mini-cruise on the Douro river.

Day 6:
Breakfast at the hotel. Our suggestions for this day:
Discover the beautiful region of the Douro Valley, where the famous Port wine is produced. Do some sightseeing along the Douro river, passing by Amarante, Peso da Regua and Pinhao – beautiful small towns on the edge of the river. Visit a Wine Cellar.

Continue heading to Vila Real and to the famous Solar Mateus – an impressive manor house, where wine is produced – and visit the beautiful gardens of the Palace.

Day 7: Breakfast at the hotel. Our suggestions for this day:
Get to know the Minho Region – the most northern area of Portugal and also well known for its production of the so called “Green Wine”. Start with Guimarães - the birthplace of Portugal as a Nation and visit the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança, as well as the beautiful historical centre.

Continue to Braga and visit the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte and the impressive Cathedral in Braga.

Visit one of the famous Green Wine Quintas, with a wine tasting, and proceed to Viana do Casteloenjoy the historical centre with its 17th century Manor Houses.

Day 8:

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and head to Lisbon Airport for your return flight home.
