Hello, my name is Tracey Schoeman and I am a Travel Counsellor based in King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
I was born in King William’s Town, and it is the place where I got married to a loving husband and where I have had 2 beautiful boys. What I like most about King William’s Town is the close community that has been formed, and the people who are friendly and supportive where the community will always stand together.
19 Years ago my passion for travel was realised when I was offered a position in our local travel agency as a bus consultant, over the years I progressed to a domestic consultant and finally to a Senior International consultant and I later took up another position at a local Travel Agency in Bisho, where I gained even more knowledge and travel experience and it was here that I got to see a lot of the world!
My earliest experience in travel was when I was just 18 years old where I jetted off to London and Scotland. I wasn’t sure what to expect with a map in one hand, Starbucks coffee in the other and my best friend at my side. I experienced firsthand the sights of the UK and Scotland - what a great experience!
I have since travelled back to the UK and to Scotland a couple of times and also to Hong Kong, Thailand, Mauritius, Germany, Switzerland and France. My favourite destination is definitely Thailand - the people, the sights, beaches and shopping, what an amazing place!
I have recently started from own travel business and am supported by Travel Counsellors, the world’s largest independent home-working Travel Company who operate in 6 countries. What I love about being a Travel Counsellor is the freedom and flexibility it allows me, as I get to put as much time that is needed into my business and the support that my head office provides me is fantastic. My Head Office takes care of my back office which frees up my time to focus my full attention onto my clients.
I am in communication with over 1200 Travel Counsellors around the world who can put me in touch with “local” information, or who can provide me with a hotel or restaurant recommendation, which I can pass onto you, in order to make your trip extra special.
Our Travel Counsellors in the UK have a saying, “It’s always sunny in Bolton” well ” it is always sunny in King William’s Town”, I hope to hear from you soon, and I promise to make your next holiday a dream holiday!
Regards
Tracey
