My name is Sonja Etzold, and I have been a travel professional for over 15 years. I did most of my training in Munich, Germany, having also worked there for 4 years to gain a broad spectrum of travel experience, before listening to my heart and returning to Namibia. I continued working in the retail travel industry as a Senior Travel Management Consultant in top travel agencies in Windhoek, and at the end of 2005 was promoted to Travel Manager at Sure Ritz Travel, Windhoek.

I love travelling and exploring the globe - finding new and interesting destinations, how to get there and how to get around once you got there. Travelling is probably one of the best ways to broaden the mind – heck, it should be compulsory! It is my firm belief that if you want to be good at something, then you have to be passionate about it.

I’ve visited the Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius (several times – just love the place!) & Germany. I’ve taken city breaks to Dubai, Budapest, Hong Kong (for lunch), Paris, New York, London, Barcelona, Rome, Euro Disney Paris, and Disney World – Orlando. I have cruised the Caribbean (East & West) as well as the Mediterranean – and of course, last but certainly not least, my own country Namibia, as well as our neighbours, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
