My name is Michelle Venter and I am a Travel Counsellor based in the South of Johannesburg, Alberton although I handle clients both far and wide.
I have lived in Alberton for the past 25 years and I am blessed with both a daughter and a son. My daughter has two boys aged 7 and 5 and my son is in grade 7.
I have worked in a corporate travel environment for the last 23 years. As a Travel Counsellor I am here to help you to have a positive and memorable travel experience.
I have attended the following courses, domestic and international fares and ticketing, Galileo, visa training, financial smart, accountable customer services, windows, word, business writing skills, excel and front line communications.
I am familiar with administrative travel details such as insurance, passport procedures, visas and travel advisory warnings and medical offices that provide the necessary travel vaccines etc.
I have extensive training in Travel Counsellors intranet booking system, contact centre and ground breaking dynamic packaging system Phenix. I have experience in conference bookings, incentives and trade fairs.
I have visited Mauritius, USA, Spain, Austria, Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Swaziland and as well as Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth (Garden route).
I am self motivated, organised, disciplined, warm supportive and friendly. I focus on people’s aspirations, meet goals and maintain integrity as I work. I am dedicated, willing to go the extra mile. I have excellent time management and it is very important to me to create long term relationships with my customers.
I have become a Travel Counsellor as I was frustrated in my previous work environment in not being able to deliver to my clients, the service that they deserved. The back up and support from Travel Counsellors Head Office is phenomenal which frees up my time which I can now dedicate 100% to my clients needs which is what I love.
