Virgin Atlantic
One the way to Antigua I was lucky enough to experience their Premium Economy Product and I was really impressed. The seats were comfortable, it had its own cabin that was so nice and quiet. The food was truly amazing. I ate the beast chicken dish ever on a plane on this flight, Chicken Teriyaki! I was blown away! You get priority security clearance at Gatwick Airport and priority boarding. The service & the stewards was great and we were offered champagne or juice while waiting to take-off. All the cutlery and crockery was real with no plastic in sight. There is nothing nicer than getting your coffee in a proper mug to enjoy. I would highly recommend this product.
On the return I flew back in economy class and this was also good. I thought the service was good and the seats in economy class had the configuration 2 - 4 - 2. Did you know that there is now an option to pay extra, to guarantee a seat at the emergency exit or bulkhead rows now. This is really nice as it gives you some extra leg room and it is guaranteed.
All round I am pleased that I had finally got to experience Virgin Atlantic as I have sold it hundreds of times over my 25+ years in travel.
