Welcome and thank-you for choosing Travel Counsellors. My name is Lana Sykes. I have 13 years experience in the travel industry. I have just achieved Gold Status based on exceptional sales with Travel Counsellors which I am very excited about! I have provided my clients with all their travel arrangements from hotels, car hire, insurance and visas both locally and internationally.

I have experience arranging corporate and leisure travel as well as sports related travel. One of my most challenging and exciting sporting tours that I undertook was for our SA BMX Team to the world championships in China - a contingent of 50 riders including bikes. I am proud to include our very own BMX Champion and SA Olympic contender Sifiso Nhlapo is one of my special clients. It is a privilege to arrange travel for prestigious teams such as the DCM Racing team, the MTN Qhubeka Cycling Team, Team Bonitas and numerous motorsport racing teams and officials.

My personal travel experiences include; the magical island of Mauritius, the bustling city of London, the streets of gay Paris, the mystery of Africa such as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, the white beaches of Zanzibar, the magnificent coastal resorts of the Cape, KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape. The inland beauty of the Drakensberg, Golden Gate in Clarens, Game Reserves and the close escape to the Magaliesberg and I’m still planning for many more dream destinations.
