I mean it when I say a holiday for everyone. There is a consensus in the market that you go to Dubai to shop. Not true, yes you can shop, but what an experience we had from dune bashing through to just relaxing at Wild Wadi and visiting friends.

Our first day started off with dune bashing, dinner and traditional dancing. What an experience. These drivers know what they are doing. They took us over the dunes to a spot where we could relax and watch the show and where we enjoy dinner which was all included.

Our second day we spent at Wild Wadi water park, just in front of the Burj Al Arab, it is the only Seven Star hotel in the world, and what a view! The service inside the park was outstanding; we never had to walk around with cash, as it was all in the wrist, as I would say. When you enter the park all the rides are free and there is plenty to do. After Wild Wadi we went to The Mall of the Emirates, where we had something to eat. We enjoyed a nice cooked meal which cost less than a Spur Schnitzel we enjoyed veggies, starches and oxtail. Wow, I would go back only for that!

Day 3 we spent the whole day at the Dubai Mall. This is truly the largest mall in the world where there is everything that you can think of. I had nothing much to say here and I let my wife write the journal for day 3.

Day 4 Friends of ours took us to Burj Alarab, Atlantis (The Palm) and Mayden Race Course where we had a buffet lunch. To see these hotels and the activities that they offer was amazing. The suite that they showed us had an underwater view. You can see the World Islands from the Burj Al Arab. The rooms we saw at Mayden Race course had private balconies overlooking the race course.

The public transport in Dubai is outstanding. We used the metro to the taxis.
