Welcome to my web page.

My name is Jaco Steyn and I would like to be your personal Travel Counsellor. I am based in Bloemfontein. With eight years experience in the travel industry, I decided to start my own travel business and to join Travel Counsellors.

I began my career in travel as a junior consultant, where I worked my way up to a senior consultant at a well known travel agency in Bloemfontein. During those seven years I have travelled to many international destinations and I experienced firsthand why my clients love travelling there.

I have completed several courses and seminars on destinations around the world namely:
1. Destination Britain – weekend seminar
2. Aussie enthusiast – weekend seminar
3. Egypt and Beyond – 4 day trip to Cairo, Memphis and Giza
4. South American Workshop
5. Thailand familiarisation trip - 8 days
6. Euro-rail familiarisation trip - 5 days

My favourite destination is Egypt. It is a land filled with history and beauty. From the Pyramids of Giza to the vastness of the dessert and the mighty Nile, perfume factories, carpet schools and so much more. It is a country full of mystery.

What I love about being a Travel Counsellor is that I am available for my clients at all times. I am not bound by tradition office hours. Travel Counsellors award winning technology and the back up support that I receive from our Head Office gives me more time to spend on my clients needs. Many of my clients have become my personal friends through the personalised service that I have been able to deliver to them.
